Ann McCarty
Ann McCarty's paintings grow out of her imagination whether derived from nature or purely fictional, her paintings spring to
a life of their own. They are meant to challenge the viewer in, to muse upon the image. They bring to light something that
may be overlooked in day to day life, a fleeting moment, a passing feeling that is passed over all too soon.
Ann's work is commented on as being highly creative. "Each of us have our own special voice that needs to be shared with
others, this is what makes us unique and our art exciting. Take the risk to share this and we are all enriched." Her work
has won awards at local, state and national shows. She has also been in several group and solo exhibits.
She teaches painting and creativity courses locally. Ms. McCarty's drawing classes at the Art League of Bonita Springs are
very popular. Cape Coral Art Studio and the Pine Island Art League also offer Ann's painting classes. Her students have
exhibited and won awards.
